The connection between the Bus with long wheelbase and the tent is realized through the guide-rail which can be installed on the roof. You can easily purchase the guide-rail for the Bus with long wheelbase at your local VW dealer under following article numbers:
Left side / 7H3 860 181 A QZU
Right side / 7H3 860 182 A QZU
The difference between the version Roof Slider Center Screw LONG and the simple Roof Slider LONG is, that the Roof Slider allows you to still use a roof rack which is installed on the guide-rail. The necessary Fusion guide-rail sliders can be installed permanently in between the roof rack.
